Reading Survey of Program Dymanics (SPD) Files with SAS, SPSS, or Stata

The SAS, SPSS, and Stata files were created by data@nber.org at the NBER to make access to the Census' Survey of Program Dynamics Files easier.

The corresponding data files are available at the Census/BLS Data Download page. Also, the Census has old and new data extraction tools for the more recent files. Internal users can access these files and corresponding data in a UNIX shell at /homes/data/spd or on an NBER PC at Network Neighborhood --> NBER --> home --> data --> spd

To download files in Internet Explorer, right click on them and select "Save Target As...". Each file has thousands of lines.
