Clinical Investigator Inspection ListThe FDA produces the Clinical Investigator Inspection List (CLIIL), which "contains names, addresses, and other pertinent information gathered from inspections of clinical investigators who have performed studies with investigational new drugs. The list contains information on inspections that have been closed since July 1977". FDA updates the file quarterly. The FDA offers a Clinical Investigator Inspection Search searchable database. The documentation has database definition codes for the Clinical Investigator Inspection List (CIIL). The FDA Clinical Investigator Inspection List data is offered here in SAS, Stata, and CSV formats to make the whole database a bit easier to use.
